Great job with the Kirby-esque simulations, Ross. I remember when Marvel and DC did that X-men/New Teen Titans crossover in the Eighties. It was so cool seeing Professor X riding the Metron Chair! It made me wonder how the King, himself, would have drawn that. :-)
I think Kirby may have been uncomfortable working on an inter-company crossover. I've read he was distrustful of the idea of DC and Marvel collaborating on anything, since it would imply a consolidation of the companies' power (presumably to the detriment of artists).
Another great comp. Some time ago, you had a tutorial page that outlined your procedure very well. Would you ever do a live seminar at a convention, or an online video on how put your covers together?
It's funny Ken, I was just thinking about something like that. Not a convention appearance, not sure how something like that would work and It would probably be pretty boring to watch. But maybe if there was some way to record what's going on my screen and be able to edit it it by speeding it up at certain points, a video might be possible. I'm not that well versed in video creation/editing on my computer though.
There's software like Camtasia that records your screen and voice. If you have ever tinkered with iMovie or the equivalents, it's not that hard to handle. Hope posting a link is okay here.
