The New Teen Titans and Guardians of the Galaxy
I'd love to see a story featuring these two teams. I could see Robin and Star-Lord clashing over leadership styles, Starfire and Gamora sparring and enjoying every minute of it, Rocket not amused at Changelings ability to mimic him, and so on. Sure, there could be some villains in the mix, but the personal interactions are what would make this fun to read for me.

You can see Robin clashing with Star-Lord; I can see Groot clashing with Jason Woodrue or Poison Ivy. Or possibly teaming up with Alan Scott to cover his one weakness....
I can see the alliance between these two groups resulting from an alliance between Thanos and Blackfire!
Brilliant job, Ross...as usual. :-)
Another great pairing. Another great story idea. Another great cover.
Anonymous - There's an Alan Scott/Groot cover in the blog already...
Cary, Sonofjack - Thank you!
I can see Rocket trying to take Cyborg apart to hotwire something. And Wonder Girl would put Star-Lord in his place right away.
And I can see Starlord and Starfire possibly getting together and having a bunch of little starlets. ;-)
This was the best incarnation of the group, when Marv Wolfman was at the top of his game, his writing at its finest!! But it seems after the Terra Betrayl saga (a comic book masterpiece classic), i felt the writing declined considerably. I don't think the move to Deluxe Format was a good idea. It was a slap in the face to fans without access to them. This was before the proliferation of specialty comic shops (I was a kid living in NYC, but there were none near me that I knew of at the time) and before major bookstores like Barnes & Noble, D Daltons and Walden Books carried new comics and trades paper backs (yeah kids, once upon a time, comics were nowhere to be found outside the newstand! It was a different world!!!) Anyhoo, I really loved and miss this 1980s/early 90s version of The New Teen Titans.
