Creeper gets my vote to be part of a reboot of Batman and The Outsiders! What if DC creators were given a memo where they could not create new characters? Like Katanna, Halo, Geo-Force or Looker? The Outsiders would have been a very different team! I would have put The Demon, Creeper and Plastic Man on there, along with maybe Green Arrow and Black Canary.

Well, the Creeper WAS in one of DC's own later incarnations of the team...
The Demon might be a bit tricky for even the Batman to control effectively... but how about adding Man-Bat to that list?
Now THAT'S a match up! Definitely animated - I would subscribe to it immediately! This one is just a ton of fun, and is the best moment I'm going to have today (although if something tops it, that's okay too.) Thanks for your wonderful work, and happy holiday to you and yours!
As for an existing group of DC Heroes to be the Outsiders: Batman (leader), Supergirl, Metamorpho, Aquaman, Beast Boy, The Creeper, and Manhunter from Mars.
Freakazoid was alright. But, I got a bigger kick out of the Roman/Nelvana version of the Mask (as voiced by Rob Paulsen...who also did the Creeper for JLU).

Jeff Bennett voiced the Creeper, but I don't think he had any lines in JLU.
Funny thing, I actually own the only comic book Freakazoid ever appeared in, 1998's Animaniacs #35.
In JLA: The Nail, Green Arrow and Black Canary led the Outsiders instead of Batman, and Shade the Changing Man (the original Steve Ditko version) was a member.

When I was in high school, I made up my own DC heroes team that consisted of Creeper, Man-Bat, Plastic Man, Mr. Miracle, Barda and Black Orchid. I never could decide who the seventh member should be, Ragman or Etrigan. Deadman was the unofficial eighth member.
Sounds like a team I would have come up with - loved the C-listers!
I'd love to see Classic Creeper teamed with Captain America. Not an obvious matchup, I'll admit but when you look at the similarity in their origins, (recipients of a secret formula, scientist killed in front of them), it could work.
@ Mr. Acer: Then, Bennett must have been imitating Paulsen ("...sincerest form of flattery" and all that jazz). Lol!
