Indiana Jones and Lara Croft
Chriss Pratt has denied rumors that he has been approached about replacing Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, and indeed news of another Ford-starring installment has resurfaced. I don't mind this news - despite Pratt's talent, I just can't see anyone else in the iconic role. I have also read that Tomb Raider may be headed back to the silver screen with a rebooted franchise. I enjoyed both of the Angelina Jolie movies and would welcome more theatrical outings for Lara croft.

Looks like you lost the R in Quartermain. Otherwise, awesome cover.
Nope, Allan Quatermain is the correct spelling.
No, Quatermain is correct. That's how his creator H. Rider Haggard spelled it.
I've been picturing this team-up for years. Of course the Time travel aspect figured heavily into the plot I imagined for these two to meet. (1930s-40s Indy, Modern Lara.)
Actually I'd like to see a two-era Indy story, going back and forth between Harrison Ford in the 1970s and Sean Patrick Flannery in the 1940s.
And of course we'd need for Harrison's part of the story to show how Indy lost his eye.
I can see Jon Hamm as Indiana Jones.
With Nazi's and 4th Reich-ist Neo-Nazis as the bad guys.
TWO things we learned from Indy 4. Shia LaBeouf can't act and Nazis make better villains than Russians.
Dark Horse gave us Batman and Tarzan why could they not give us Indiana jones and Tarzan.
@John Platt:
You must be thinking of the "General Hospital" character played by Stuart Damon.
@Ross: Why nobody has done a real inter-company crossover with these two is beyond me. Thanks for the depiction.
Wait - Sean Connery played Alan Quatermain! He also played Henry Jones, Sr.
Mind = blown.
The only comment I can provide is this:

Well I'll be damned, I've been reading that name wrong in my head all these years.
I am ready for a sixth actor to play Indiana Jones, unless we really want Harrison Ford to start wearing the eye-patch of "old" Indy.
One wonders if HGW'S time machine brought these two together?
