The Green Lantern Corps and Futurama

Futurama, in my opinion, is one of the greatest animated series ever.  It had a great cast of characters brought to life with excellent voice work and a setting that allowed the writers to fill their episodes with tons of sight gags and Easter eggs in addition to humorously inventive plots.  The episodes were often touching and thought provoking as well. The series has come back to life twice after I thought it completed, so maybe there's a chance that it may return again one of these days.  Until then I will enjoy re-watching old seasons.

Futurama was a pretty "original" take on the fish-out-of-water, time traveler concept of Buck Rogers. We'd like to think that our best and brightest, most creative minds would make it into the future, but what if that were not the case...and hilarity ensues! I like the animation of Futurama, too. I'm not familiar with what that whole process is called, but it's not as flat as The Simpsons or Batman: The Animated Series looks.

Actually, I liked the animation of the 1990's Bat-show far better than that of FUTURAMA (which was too much like THE SIMPSONS for my taste).
But, in terms of whimsy, you've captured the feel of FUTURAMA, quite greatly!

How about Darkseid vs. Pureheart the Powerful, next?

Are you going to do something for Sliders' 20th Anniversary?

For once, "return again" isn't redundant!
