Professor X and Captain Picard

I remember seeing ads for the then upcoming Star Trek: The Next Generation with a bald, British actor assuming the captain's chair, and being surprised that this guy was the heir to Shatner's throne.  Once I started watching the show, I saw what the producers must have and Patrick Stewart quickly won me over.  He really elevated the series with his acting abilities, and  had some truly stand out episodes.  The series finale, "All Good Things...", is one of my favorites, mainly due to his performance as a time-jumping Picard.  When Stewart was cast as Professor X, it was one of the few times that the fans and movie makers were in complete sync - everyone thought he would be perfect for the role, and he did not disappoint.  I'm really looking forward to him taking one more crack at Charles Xavier in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

It's my long lost brother from another mother. Love this one. I recall a book series that involved the X-Men and Star Trek, but I believe it was only the original, can't recall if there was a TNG crossover. Then again it was before Stewart became Prof X anyways.

How about pairing the animated Capt. Picard with American Dad's Bullock?

Picard was animated?

When I saw who you'd combined I did a laugh-out-loud! Very cool. And it's a well-done cover in any event, even without the Patrick Stewart connection.

Next up: Captain Archer and Quantum Leap!

@William Wade II : There were a couple of X- Men / STTNG crossovers. One was in comics form, and the sequel was a prose novel called Planet X. My favorite scene was in the latter, where Wolverine was in Ten Forward and Guinan offered him a glass of Worf's favorite "warrior's drink."
