Vixen and The Black Panther
I've always liked Vixen, from way back to the days where she was a Superman supporting character with an ugly costume. She's had to work hard to gain prominence, first as a member of the ill-fated Detroit era Justice League and then of Suicide Squad. It was with the squad that she really began to flourish, under the pen of John Ostrander, who gave her a bit more depth. I enjoyed her appearances on Justice League Unlimited as well, they really demonstrated how cool her abilities can be. I think she was with Justice League International in the New 52, but since that title's cancellation, I am not sure where she's ended up. Hopefully DC will find a home for her, she's earned her place alongside the A-listers by now.

Cool team-up! But what does Storm have to say about all this?...
There's a 2-parter coming up that may deal with that...
Nice!
Forget Storm ... what about John Stewart!!! Great Job woth the cut & paste Ross. Are those Kubert hands by any chance?
Yup!
Vixen and Black Panther is a better romantic pairing than Bronze Tiger or Storm. Despite her haughty bearing, Ororo is too much of a street kid to be comfortable as royalty, plus her power set isn't complimentary with T'Challa's. It's not that Mari is shallow, but Ben's mental issues and somber presence seemed like a buzzkill, where she's more of a social butterfly.
Another twosome used for the New Amalgam Comics project. These two were mixed by Red Rum-18 to make "Black Vixen", a member of the Justice Avengers and reigning princess of Wakesi (Zambesi and Wakanda). Her husband is Storm Wizard (Weather Wizard/Storm), a former foe of the Silverflash (Flash (Barry Allen) and Quicksilver) who became a member of the X-Patrol (Doom Patrol/X-Men).
Gotta agree with Frank here. Despite the different publishing universes, Black Panther and Vixen is a romantic couple I would champion! I love T'Challa. I love Storm. I did not love that marriage.
I also agree with Ross that Vixen deserves a higher profile in the books right now. She could have been a great addition to the new Justice League of America, whose whole existence is to fight the Justice League, and her power set would have made her a more formidable foil for Wonder Woman, Flash, or Aquaman.
