Justice League of America Vs. Thanos
The Thanos teaser at the end of The Avengers was very cool, but what does it mean for the future of the franchise. Will Thanos be the villain of the Avengers sequel as it suggests, or will he be a Nick Fury type who will have a cameo in a few more different movies before getting a major starring treatment down the line? Either way, it's great that Marvel is making him part of their movie-verse. I wonder if his appearance will put a wrench in the Justice League movie plans - Darkseid would be a good villain for them to go up against, but it might seem too similar to Thanos. I say, bring on Starro!

While this would be a truly epic battle between the two, I'm sure at least either GL or GA would state the obvious about fighting who they would perceive as Darkseid light or Darkseid part 2.
With the range of powers and iconic status a team like the JLA has, it really would be a hell of a fight, especially if Thanos could bring an object like the Cosmic Cube and/or Infinity Gauntlet into the mix.
Very nice cover.
Villain for a JLA movie:
Despero!
WB should ignore whatever Marvel is doing and go with Darkseid, as he's a far greater villain with a very rich history to mine--certainly more than Thanks.
About the cover: nice! It would be cool to see the JLA fight Avengers villains like the Masters of Evil (original line up).
I would love to see Thanos smack down on Green Lantern and Superman; though I wouldn't give him good odds against Silver Age Superman the old Purple Puss should be able to take on more recent incarnations of the Justice League.
You definitely haven't seen the last of Thanos on this blog.
Superman could take Thanos, afterall he is just a poor man's Mongul...or maybe Dark Seid? Either way Supes has beaten both of them as well.
All Thanos has to do is wear a suit of Kryptonite and Superman is dead.Superman has never gone up against a villain like Thanos. Not even Darkseid is like Thanos.Thanos uses his enemies weaknesses against them to maximum effect.
