Superman Vs. The Hulks

Actually, I wouldn't mind this comic being real, to just weed out the glut of Hulks.  Don't get me wrong, I liked that Hulk had some gamma related supporting characters back in the day.  Doc Samson and She-Hulk were interesting spins on the Hulk theme.  But somewhere along the line it got crazy, with his entire main supporting cast of Betty Ross, Rick Jones and Thunderbolt Ross now being Hulks themselves, and they even have a Hulk Jr. running around!  Yeesh, it just dilutes the brand in my eyes.  That said, I do understand that Red Hulk and some of the others have gained a following, so maybe I should give the comics another chance.

Funny, "diluting the brand" is precisely the problem Superman had by the end of the sixties. I wonder what kids today would make of someone trying to sell them a Legion Of Hulk Pets. I'll stick with the Pet Avengers, myself.

Hey, should I assume that you're aware of the Steve Rude one-shot from the 90's? It featured a Hulk vs. Superman story that takes place with their c.1964 versions. The Hulk looks like he's pencilled by Kirby and inked by Ditko. The Superman has Boring's bulk but Swan and Anderson's grace and expression, but everything is definitely by Rude.

Red Hulk, from what I heard, has gained fans since Jeff Parker took over his book. It miht interest you that this run bought back Machine Man, as closer to his original potrayal, rather than how he was potrayed since Nextwave and I remember you didn't liked how much he has changed. Speaking of which - any chances for seeing more Machine Man here?

Machine Man is on at least 3 upcoming covers, I'm a big fan.

Hard to believe anybody is dull enough to compare the Hulk Family to the Legion of Super Heroes-actually the only attempt DC ever made to create a large group of superpowerful heroes in a short time--something Marvel has done "marvelously"-of course, since they all now job out to Cabbage Head. . ..

I should have said--the "great Legion of Super Heroes"-my favorite from way back in the 60's.
