Yes, Chronos has one of the most garish costumes out there. I'm not sure which era the time villain has visited in which those striped leggings are in fashion. Still, his mask at least has always looked cool to me and even creeped me out a little as a kid.

I always had a problem with that kind of dialogue. The winner will bow to me! WHY?? You a fighter? No! Why would such a non fighter think that fighters will do what they say to do? Right Brain? You are Pinky, this TIME!!
There is a crossover comic book from a few years ago where Wolverine and his fellow mutants encounter the TOS crew in the original Enterprise. Wolverine tries to pick a fight there too and is promptly neck-pinched into unconsciousness by Mister Spock.
Maybe this Chronos is a Dominion changeling in disguise. One who became obsessed with stripes after hiding out on the home world of that zebra girl from "Star Trek Beyond" (or, as I unapologetically love to call it "Needless Reboot 3").
@Jason Toddman: ah, yes! I fondly remember that crossover. Hank McCoy meeting Leonard McCoy. The two Scotties (Summers and Montgomery). And Gary Mitchell getting zombified by Proteus McTaggart!

@Cary: in that case, why couldn't the impersonator just be some politically ambitious Hobgoblin from the Imperial Guard?

To Spock's astonishment, Logan shook it off almost instantly, thanks to his healing factor.
I suppose it was the internal arrangement of Silver Age DC (Weisinger had Superman and his associated characters, while Schwartz had the other super-heroes) that prevented the plot twist of having the Time Trapper turn out to be Chronos, having found some way to manipulate time to make himself immortal.
As Mr. Spock would say: "That would've been the most logical plot device. Albeit, probably too logical for most Earthlings to tolerate."
That's a plot device, Tobor. It's clear that Chronos has something that will work to control the mind of the victor post-combat -- say, a Neural Anti-Resistance Formula.

Cool Ross! Maybe this a new holodeck program Worf received from Quark when mentioned that he needed a fresh challenge.
