OK, admittedly this story may only take 2 comic panels to tell, but I still feel like it would make for a satisfying read! John Wick 5 is reportedly in development, although I'm not sure how that works given the end of the last film. Perhaps his appearance in Ballerina (which I have not seen yet) explains it?

@Ross: I saw it during its brief run in theaters. Not bad (if you regard it as a stand-alone story)! Chronologically, it's set between chapters three and four of the main saga. And, yes, that's the only "spoiler" I'll divulge, here.
Oh, dear! I just had a horrible thought. What if Anon@June 19 was right? What if Hit Man and the Punisher really were diving into a Purgatory-like other dimension @ STF #4815? Were they trying to _prevent_ the return of John Wick from the after-life? If so, who could be responsible for such necromantic villainy?
@Carycomic: my first guess would be Dr. Doom. Part of an experiment aimed--yet again---at bringing back his mother from Mephisto's dimension. But, instead, it also reanimated the otherwise dead GI JOE film franchise!
Seriously, though; I think you could be right. If so, STF #'s 4814-15 might have been just as much sequels to STF #4142. But, Ross, of course, is the only one who can say for sure!
P.S. @ Ross: if John Wick were a member of Team G.I. Joe, would his code-name be "Mongoose" (as in, "Number One Cobra-Killer")?
How about codename : Jellyfish? All those arms and flexibility.
