It will be interesting to see what kind of role Thor will play in the next Avengers movies, seeing as he is the last remaining of the founding members (I'm not counting The Hulk, who is just green Mark Ruffalo now). The real question is, will the God of Thunder survive the experience?

I feel as if this story would somehow tie into Invaders #32-33 (the issues where Thor fought the Invaders).
Well; in both DC & Marvel; Uncle Adolf WAS known to have his underlings search for mystical Norse artifacts that sometimes allowed him to temporarily control Asgardian deities (He was also a big fan of Norse Mythology in real life; but best not to discuss that in detail.) Something like that COULD be happening here.
What I'd like to know is, who's the guy in purple and yellow? I'm pretty sure I recognize the rest of the Squadron.
Another superb cover. Nice!
Tarantula in his first costume which looks like The Sandman’s second costume. The brown costume is much better.
I bet Thor's vow of vengeance has something to do with what happened to Sif and the Warriors Three during their run-in with Mr. Universe.---Carycomic
I am, of course, referring to STF #'s 4755-57 back in April. Still Cary (after all of these minutes).
During yesterday's nap, I dreamed very briefly (like, a few seconds) of a team-up between the original Human Torch and the modern Red Tornado. I think it would make for an interesting pairing.
(Reddy has teamed with Johnny Storm, but not Jim Hammond.)
