There was talk of a live action Gargoyles movie a few years ago, but I haven't heard much about it since the projects announcement. It appears to still be in development, so hopefully we will hear about some forward momentum soon. If done right, it could be a very cool film. Thanks to Mike Shirley, a Patron of this Blog, for suggesting this team up!

Maybe that's where this issue is headed. As a prelude to the "official" adaptation of the film by STF. Tentative title?
"Development Hellboy!"
@Cary: let me guess. He'd break the spell that had trapped Goliath and his clan in the form of a two-dimensional photograph (discourtesy of that obscure Bat-foe, Mr. Camerahead)?
@Ross: This is brilliant. I'd buy a real-world version of it in a heartbeat! :-)
You scoff, Anon@6AM. But, why not? That would also make it a natural sequel to STF #3420 (from August of four years ago)!
{Bangs forehead up and down on desk top in response.}
I remember suggesting this ages ago XD I thought you had forgotten!
Yes, sometimes it takes a while before thce covers actually hit the blog. Thank you for the suggestion, Mike!
I am a fan of both properties so I like this one. I've always been taken by what I call the heroic monster genre like Hellboy, Gargoyles, or Swamp Thing because I weirdly identify with monsters.
So did legendary Universal Studios director James Whale.
