The Hulk and Batman (The Movie Adaptation!)

I recently rewatched the 1989 Batman movie, and while it shows some age, the performances, visuals and musical score still make it a joy to watch.  I can't wait to see Michael Keaton return to the character.

Batman and The Hulk have crossed paths a number of other times on The Lost Issues:

They were last seen battling Two-Face and The Bi-Beast...

Then there was the time that they were starring in a TV Movie.

They first met in my first attempt at a 100-Page Giant...

I later presented them in a Golden-Age team-up...

They met during The Hulk's gray phase...

They butted heads in my 900th Issue...

A good idea for public access cable channels, and maybe even broadcast sub-channels would be to air, on Thanksgiving, a videotaped Thanksgiving gathering, as a kind of "Yule log".

This would have made for a great sequel to NBC's "Trial of the Incredible Hulk" (co-starring Rex Smith as Matt Murdock). The premise could have involved the John Rhys-Davies version of Wilson Fisk trying to set up shop in Gotham City. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne discovers that a relatively new branch of Wayne Enterprises is illegally working with the CIA to develop the world's very first...gamma bomb!*

*Every movie version of the Hulk, so far, has veered away from that aspect of the Hulk's back story. As if they want to avoid introducing Rick Jones into the Marvel Cinematic Universe like the plague!

Is this a prequel or sequel to https://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2018/01/batman-and-defenders-movie.html

:D
Another movie adaptation that could be fun would be Men In Black vs SHIELD starring Will Smith and Samuel L Jackson

As tempting as it might be to ponder an Affleck/Ruffalo remake of this team-up, I can't think of an occasion that would make it for a good excuse for a currently-in-the-role photo cover (which I recall you generally try to avoid without some good reason).*

Seeing the green Bat-signal on the cover just makes me yearn for another appearance by the Spidey-Signal. Maybe Nightwing could use it, during his "I hate Batman" phase. Or Bats himself could use it as Green Goblin and the Joker get together to tear through Gotham.

*Unlike, say, Melissa Benoist and Scarlett Johansson; a "farewell" story would be fitting for these two actresses who are leaving their roles.

Hey Bruce your alien friend from work is here to see you.
Is that the tv star or the movie star?
The one who flies. Oh, and he brought that guy that can get smaller too.

We've seen a Bat-Hulk so how about a super rich Banner? Just to see the toys he could come up with.

Or, better yet, how about Mogo the Bat-ape getting Abin Sur's power ring (a la that Elseworld graphic novel "The Darkest Knight") and getting to meet his planet-sized namesake?
