Has anyone caught the new Hellstrom series on Hulu? From the looks I have seen, it feels like one of those comic book series that have very few comic book elements in them. If it truly embraces it's Marvel roots, with characters and concepts from the original comics, I might be tempted to check it out.

As long as Hulu carries twice as many annoying commercials as regular TV, I have zero interest in watching any of their shows.
I watched the show. Since I've never read the comic, I have no idea how closely it follows the elements of the Marvel original, except that it's all "plainclothes" (no fancy costumes like the one seen here), and it makes no perceptible reference to any other Marvel TV show or movie, instead appearing to be "its own thing." With all that in mind, I found that I enjoyed it more than I expected, given its focus more as a horror story (which isn't really my scene) than anything resembling superhero.
(I also was a little surprised to see it filmed and set primarily in the Portland area. I could half expect a crossover with Grimm or The Librarians -- one scene in particular I half expected to see Noah Wylie or John Laroquette walking up.)
I also enjoyed Helstrom. I liked that it was no less abot Damion's sister Anna (the name Satana does not come up) and the father is hinted as ademon, not necessarily Satan.
I enjoyed - as always - seeing the creator credits. I almost forgot That John Romita Sr. was the first artist of Satana in one of Marvel's Black and White magazines.

@Carycomic: The commercials probably pay for the show; btw, will there be an excuse to do a team-up of Biff Tannen and Shrek, maybe with biff taking the DeLorean to the land of Far Far Away?

Raven would have fit in well with the Defenders.

I'll just continue my boycott and spend the six bucks on a good comic book. Like, say, "Witch Wraith Is Which" (Book I of the Xanth/Shannara War) by Piers Anthony and Terry Brooks!*
*Sadly, there is no such collaboration in real life. But, maybe Ross could simulate some cover art?
