There's a lot of speculation as to what will happen with the character of Mera in the Aquaman sequel, given actress Amber Heard's legal troubles. Some suggest the best move would be to write Aquaman's bride to be out of the script and replace her with Dolphin. While I wouldn't mind seeing Dolphin, I feel that Mera is too important a character to lose, so I would opt for recasting. I have heard Emilia Clarke suggested, but I think I have an idea that would work better - Deborah Ann Woll! She's mentioned it's tough finding work after Daredevil's cancellation, and shares some facial similarity with Heard. I think it could work.

Ross, were you going to use the 1960's Aqualad instead of Arthur for father's day?
You mean Circe was responsible for Fang? I thought he looked "familiar". That old stinker. What a witch.
Would Circe be able to change the Hulk into an animal?
I like this a lot. The layout is great and the colours go well together. Also Fin's expression and Aquaman's dialogue go perfectly with each other. They really look as if they have a backstory.
Triple F is under a curse? I thought he was simply a shipwrecked space alien.
Considering Fin Fang Foom's alien race brethren used shape-shifting powers to disguise themselves as humans, matbo a cover with Fin Fang Foom and American Dragon Jake Long.
Yes, Horsefeathers. And Circal could change him into anime.
That would make her a true S.T.E.M. expert for the girls to look up to:
A biological Engineering specialist. (an abbreviation for Science Technology Engineering and Math) Wonder what she would be like as a teacher?
A queen bee (yotch), no doubt.
Amber Heard exemplifies at least one double-standard in Hollywood. It took only the accusation for Johnny Depp to be dropped from Pirates of the Caribbean and nearly dropped from Fantastic Beasts, and yet even with mounting evidence against Amber and a petition to drop her from Aquaman there's been not a whisper of that, plus L'Oreal is still using her for a spokeswoman.
But yes, I think that your preference of recasting the role would be the ideal solution. In fact, I think she might make a better Mera than Amber did. Plus, that would bring her into the "Double Dippers Club" (performers who have had roles in both Marvel and DC). And, if rumors of Charlie Cox returning as Matt Murdock work out, Deb could also come back as Karen Page, making her only the second person that I know of (after Laurence Fishburne) to overlap the roles.
In other news... I think it's high time FFF faced Godzilla.
Addendum: ...or the Inferior Five.
forget Godzilla. The real question is after facing Galactus, how would the Inferior 5 do against the Impossible Man?
Ah, they're not so tough.
Herbie "the Fat Fury" Popnecker could whup 'em both!
only as long as he had a lolly or 2.
"Lolly! Lolly! Lolly! Get your adverbs, here."
Evidently, that favor entails stealing something from Superman's Fortress of Solitude! But, what? The Kandorian shrink ray? The Phantom Zone Projector? Or proof, perhaps, that the Tritonis Atlanteans are of extra-terrestrial origin?
