Sgt. Fury and Blackhawk

Blackhawk is another one of those DCEU projects that was announced, and seemingly forgotten.  None other than legendary director Stephen Spielberg was named as director, which got me very interested... and then nothing.  I haven't heard a peep about this movie since that initial announcement, I hope that it is still on.

This might be a bit of a whisper in the wind. Considering how many times the Blackhawks have been reconfigured without success, they may only show in past actions the heroes get involved in, like the JL animated series.

Dum dum really stood out with the howlers in Cap's First Avenger, but without Fury, it wasn't the same.

completely unrelated.... Who could give nightmares to Nightmare - Bat-Mite!

And we passed Blackhawk's 75th anniversary without even a mention from DC...or at least much of one...

det _Tobor, surely an ensemble piece: Nightmare (Harvey Comics' ghost horse), Nightmare (Marvel's Dr. Strange), Living Nightmare (Astro City) and Nightmare Nurse (DC), all at a picnic with Warner Brothers' cartoon characters....

Nightmares at Elmer's Treat.

So obvious a pairing when you think about it that I'm amazed you hadn't come up with it sooner.

I'm even more amazed that he passed up a more natural pairing. Howling Commandos meet 7 Soldiers of Victory!

With Dum-dum Dugan as Stripesy's brother.

Not bad, Anonymous, but for the special promo shot,
Nightmare Nurse standing next to Nightmare being ridden by Nightmare with Living Nightmare standing behind them with a rolling parade bucket & shovel.
Just when you thought it would be " a walk in the park" to have a picnic...

@Anonymous1145: the 7 Soldiers might have been unavailable. Due to still being trapped in Snow White's toy chest!
