Swamp Thing and Wolverine in: "To Heal The Green!"

When comics pro and Patron of this blog Tony Isabella requested this scenario on a cover, I had to try and make it happen.  not only is it a great concept, but it serves as a perfect follow up to the first time these two heroes met in STF #1154. Yeah, I'm just collaborating with the creator of Black Lightning, Misty Knight, Tigra and more - a pretty sweet feeling for a lifelong comics fan like myself.

With the Magnum P. I. reboot debuting tomorrow, maybe the original titular character could be paired with DC Comics' Captain Marvel, as they're both comical characters that clash(?) with their being good-guys (Captain Marvel was popular as a "doofus Superman" in his history, and Thomas Magnum was criticized (but loved by commentators) in a TV Guide article decades ago as having a beach-bum persona despite the show being a crime drama).

As I've been catching up on Netflix' Marvel TV programs (I just finished Jessica Jones Season 2 last night), I've enjoyed Misty Stone's development, and she's one of my favorite characters in that corner of the MCU. Though she's a PI (I think) in the comics, she's currently a police captain in the MCU, and I keep thinking how great it would be to see her team up with Jim Gordon (she has yet to appear on this blog without Colleen Wing).

And Tony, thank you for that character, for Black Lightning, and for this cover's idea.

First of all let me congratulate you, I admire your work! Greetings from Mexico. I take this opportunity to request the most attentive, if you could combine some of our superheroes, such as Kaliman, Solitary Eagle, El Chapulin Colorado, among others, to appear in any number of STF. Thank you very much for the attention to the present and continue with your great work.

@Bob Greenwade: In the comics, Misty Knight (not Stone) already had her bionic arm when she first appeared, but her backstory was that she started out as a NYPD cop. When she lost her arm (bomb explosion) she didn't go back to the force and became a PI after Tony Stark (not Danny Rand) gave her the new arm. Her last two big gigs were leading "The Fearless Defenders" (Misty, Valkyrie, Moonstar, Clea, etc.) and as part of "Black Panther & The Crew".

Regarding your team-up suggestion with Jim Gordon, I was thinking who besides Misty would be a good match from Marvel, and I came up empty. Marvel's heroes don't seem to actually interact with the cops all that much, and when they do, they end up dead (Jean DeWolff) or bad (Rafe Scarfe).

@Anonymous: You know their slogan.

"Cut off one head; two more shall take its place."

P.S.---What about Jim Gordon and Bob Grayson (the original Marvel Boy)? What could bring them together, you ask? Five words: the wedding of Dick and Barbara!!!

I even have the perfect title.

"You Are Cordially Invited..."

Jay: Thanks for the surname correction. I have no idea where Stone came from.

In the PI department, maybe the Daughters of the Dragon could team up with DC's premier PI: Ralph Dibny, the Elongated Man!

Or, failing that, how about Dakota North and Jim Gordon?

Or, failing them, how about Deadpool and Super-President?
