This was a match up that I teased way back in STF #33, and I have always meant to get back to. We've seen Ego make his film debut in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, now it's time to have some Mogo love on the big screen. Let's hope he can get at least a cameo when The Green Lantern Corps finally gets to the movies. I loved his animated appearance when Mogo Doesn't Socialize was adapted.

One DC comic book story featuring the villain T. O. Morrow involved a planet in another dimension that is also a form of life.
mogo got good mojo...lol
@ the two Anons: then there was the living planet who preceded both of them. That sadly Forgotten Villain...Yggdrasil!
@Cary: I believe you mean "Yggardis," who first debuted in the June 1960 issue of MYSTERY IN SPACE. "Yggdrasil" is the Asgardian World Tree over at Marvel Comics.
Think a "Legion" story had a living planet as well.
And before Mogo there was "The Strange World Named Green Lantern!" from a Silver Age GL story
The Guardians once confined an entire space sector (Sector 3600). Ego, a single living planet, should not present such a great problem for them.
Ego's ego is nothing against Mogo's Mojo!
Anon #3: Yggdrasil (whose origins is in actual Norse mythology) was also the source of several of the heroes' powers in Just Imagine Stan Lee Creating the DC Universe.
(Speaking of which, I'd still love to see that version of the Flash on this blog some time, perhaps teamed up with Photon. Even more, though, I'd love to see the Tangent Universe Green Lantern do some work with either Madame Web or Uatu the Watcher.)
YES! Just Yes!
Tough call good matchup, I'd want to read this. BRAVO ZULU, ROSS.
Mogo VS Ego A MOJO Network Production.
WHAT IF...Mick Jagger and The Guardians of the Galaxy founded a dance club on the surface of our planet-sized ringslinger?
"Goin' To GOTO's Mogo-A-Go-Go!"
Didn't the Alan Moore co-created works of 1963 have an evil planetoid parallel world counterpart of the Hypernaut? (Whoa, there's a sentence I never expected to say, lol).
MOJO Vision Presents Battle of the Baby Planets (R) (TM)! Baby Ego (TM) Vs Baby Mogo(TM) , in the most adorable carnage & destruction you have ever seen!
To DSD: Yes, he called himself "The Orbiteer".
If this was a real comic, you could make an offer to buy one and get one free. It'd be an Ego/Mogo BOGO.
What do you call a foot-powered, spring-operated, wooden toy jointly manufactured by these two living plantes?
An Ego/Mogo pogo stick!
Leego my Ego! "Le'go" does not rhyme with ego.
I'm really looking forward to the Silly Fun of SHAZAM, and the High Adventure of Aquaman. I haven't seen a DC Live action movie since the Nolan Trilogy (although I SO wanted to see The period Piece Wonder Woman in 3-D) the last one I saw was the one where Bane sounded like Sean Connery in a diver's welding helmet.
@Brother Barnes: I've often wondered how people can eat waffles made from small plastic figurines. ;-)
Cary Comic or the ones made of multicolored interlocking bricks for that matter.

Aren't those Lincoln Logs?
See https://www.knex.com/lincoln-logs
Lincoln? "...And Party On Dudes!" - Abraham Lincoln.
@Brother Barnes: That previous pun courtesy of the Socratic Method Acting School.
