I never knew Mork & Mindy ended on such an insane cliffhanger. I think I stopped watching it after a couple of seasons. Right around the time they had their kid and it turned out to be Jonathan Winters. Shame that it was never resolved...

Cosmo - he's a Marvel Dog that made his live action debut in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Howard the Duck and Mork...? Nope. Never would have seen that one coming. Never in a million years. That doesn't mean that I don't like it, but nope. Never would have seen that one coming....
By the way, speaking of the Popeye movie, I also loved the performance of Ray Walston as Poopdeck Pappy. Coincidentally, he also played an alien in the TV sitcom My Favorite Martian....
Sonofjack Well- So you're saying that Uncle Martin was Mork's father? Somehow, that makes sense (and I'm embarrassed that I never thought of it before).
The Popeye movie had a certain bizarre brilliance to it, even if not everything quite worked- it's too bad it didn't do better.

Loved the light-hearted nature of the covers from today and yesterday. Wish a lot more modern comics would be this fun. (Hey, DC! Marvel has Squirrel Girl and Howard the Duck and Moongirl.... Get with it!)
Second, I came looking for a cover I was *sure* would be here but it isn't. Can't believe it's never been requested although I'm sure that putting together covers with two teams is a challenge. But how about bringing together the Marvel and DC teams where villains "break good" and do a cover with the Thunderbolts and the Suicide Squad?
I've considered it, but just haven't come up with anything to my satisfaction yet. I like both teams a lot though, at least their original line ups.
The art style of SS and early Thunderbolts was so different. It would make that a challenge.
The Collector would love Doing, Mork's dog from the cartoon.
How about Woody Allen's dog from SLEEPER?

Regarding that last Anonymous suggestion, the title of that meeting could be a variation of the parenthetical.
I second SonofJack's motion. But, only if there were a part two showing Alf being cornered by a vengeance-seeking Catwoman! I can just picture Alf's word balloon on the "cover," now.

Catwoman vs. ALF? That's probably just bizarre enough to appeal to Ross. :-)

I suggested Streaky because I thought Alf vs. Catwoman would be too farfetched. But I like anon 2's vengeance idea.
