Batman and Spider-Man in "Rigged Rides!"
I just picked up the entire run of Batman: The Brave and the Bold on Blu-Ray and I am having a blast re-visiting the episodes. The love for DC comics history is very evident, and I keep noticing new references and easter eggs that I missed the first (or second) time around.
Batman and Spider-Man have a bit of history on STF: The Lost Issues...
The Batman/Spidey movie premiered in STF #1014
Spidey and JJJ joined forces against Batman in Issue #937...
They were joined by some Amazing Friends in back in October 2011...
The shared a Golden Age adventure in September 2011...
Spidey wore his black outfit for their July 2010 meeting...
And here is where they first crossed paths.
This isn't the only time The Spider-Buggy has seen action, either...

Awesome cover!
At first, following the end of The Batman and after Batman: The Animated Series, the idea of Deidrich Bader voicing a Batman team-up series didn't sound all that great - but I would argue that it is a pretty awesome show! The companion comic book was pretty good as well. I believe that it was set on Earth-2, and maybe in the Silver Age of Earth-2 due to Robin aging and using his Earth-2 costume before becoming Nightwing.
The mind just boggles with all the potential animated series and live action crossover possibilities!
Great cover!
I absolutely love Brave and the Bold series! It was fun, paid loving homage to the silver age goofiness, and allowed characters like Aquaman and Blue Beetle and Green Arrow to shine. Aquaman! I mean, come on! Breakout star. And the Music Meister. And the stunt casting: Adam West, Mark Hamill, and others. And that final episode is actually quite emotional. Other than Batman: TAS, BatB is the best animated series.
Awesome cover, and yeah, B:TBATB might be my favorite of all DC cartoons, ever. Well-done stories overall, and stuff like the musical numbers and the postmodern handling of Bat-Mite just pushed it over the top into a must-see.
Ross, "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" was indeed a great animated series, and I'm glad you added one to show it.
If you liked the cartoon, you should pick up the B:TBATB trade paperbacks, because the stories have the same tone, and they're GREAT. There were two volumes; the first was okay. The second - "The All-New Batman: The Brave and the Bold" - is worth every second you spend enjoying those stories. They're REALLY fantastic.
I loved the animated Batman: The Brave and the Bold series as well, but the real star of this cover has to be the much-despised Spider-Mobile!
Well done, Sir, well done!
Excellent! Now, if only you could arrange a team-up between the 1967 cartoon Spidey and the 1968 Filmation Batman.
Batman uses a set of wings like that in one of this month's comics, after ejecting from the 'Batwing' [aircraft]: In this case it was made by Steel.
