Doctor Mid-Nite and Daredevil in "Second Sight!"
This "Blind Justice" team was one of my first, so I thought it was high time I gave them a revisit. Casting for the Daredevil Netflix series continues to impress, with Rosario Dawson coming on board in an unnamed role. Some have speculated that she will be playing Elektra, but my first thought was Misty Knight - a character that could continue into Iron Fist, Luke Cage and the other Netflix/Marvel shows.

I am cautiously optimistic about the Marvel/Disney/Netflix Daredevil. So far the casting is impressive; I'd still like to be surprised by just how good it could/will be...
This is one of my favorites of your pairings, Ross, and I'm glad to see them again. There's just something very cool about a pair of superheroes who are blind that transcends the concept for either of them individually, and I'm not aware of any other blind heroes in all of comicdom. Their previous appearance, as I recall, was in their very earliest costumes, and I'm glad to see Matt in his red tights this time.
(Now, all of a sudden, I'm wanting to see Daredevil team up with Batman, to rescue a kidnapped Ben Affleck.)
You're right. Hornhead does have more in common with this Golden Age great than he does with Batman. Which raises the question; would you be averse to depicting a meet-up between Fishnet Angel, Eric Larsen's Mighty Man, and Joe Martino's Titan?
I only ask because Titan and Fishnet Angel share the same name in their secret identities: Mark Williams!
Who, who and who? Sorry, I never even heard of those guys.
The only other blind hero I can think of is The Shroud: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shroud_(comics)
This list at Wiki, though, includes some others (I know the current version of Madam Xanadu is blind, but I doubt that will last).
Forgot to include the Wiki list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Fictional_blind_characters
@Mike Mitchell: Aside from referring to three different Dr. Mid-Nites by one title, the only character off the top of my head not on the list is Kamo Tharn, a Thor character from the 1970's who continued to pop up occasionally. He's not a hero, but the list only claims to be fictional characters.
@ Ross:
Titan is a relatively new Superman pastiche, created by Joe Martino for Red Anvil Comics. Fishnet Angel is a transgender version of Wonder Woman, from Shooting Star Comics, scheduled to appear in Red Anvil's WAR OF THE INDEPENDENTS. And, Mighty Man is a transgender version of Captain Shazam, notable for occasionally teaming up with Savage Dragon over at Image Comics.
Wonder Woman was blinded for a while, a few years ago. Ran around with a cloth over her eyes. And there was the blind soothsayer Phineas, whom Jason and the Argonauts met on their quest for the Golden Fleece -- wonder if there was ever a comic version of that tale? Seems likely.
Also, there was that blind taxi driver in Alan Moore's Top Ten -- he was a hoot! You could put all the blind heroes into his cab and title it "The Blind Leading the Blind."
