Captain America and The Guardian in "Showdown With The Shield Slingers!"




I paired these two guys together in a previous cover, but given jack Kirby's connection to both characters, I thought that a revisit was due, this time utilizing artwork by The King.  I am hoping that Cadmus Labs becomes a part of the world of TV's Arrow or The Flash, so that we might one day see a live action version of The Guardian.

Ross, back in prehistoric times, when I was in high school, I belonged to a comic book club. One meeting, just for something to do, we took a survey of the members' favorite DC and Marvel heroes. Over half the members (myself included) picked Green Lantern and Spider-Man. Several others picked Flash and Hulk. A few other duos that I don't remember got one vote each.

I don't think you've ever done either of these pairings (I'm not counting Alan Scott), and I'd get a personal kick out of seeing one or both of them sometime in the future.
