Tarzan and Conan
I have no idea who would win a battle between these two, but it would be epic to behold, I'm sure. I never got around to catching the new Conan film that recently was released. From what I saw from commercials and read in reviews, it didn't offer much that the Schwarzenegger original did better. Tarzan is a much revisited franchise, but frankly, I don't think any live action version has gotten the character just right yet. I'd still like to see a film that stylishly adheres to his earliest adventures. It wouldn't be easy to pull off, but if handled properly it could be incredibly cool.

You DO know that Conan will be meeting Groo the Wanderer in a very real crossover comic book miniseries, don't you? Talk about something you'd think you'd ONLY see here!
I love anything to do with Burrough's work.
How about John Carter/John Jonzz?
Have you been peeking?
As he was leaving for work just now, my son noted, Conan has a big long sharp thingy and Tarzan doesn't even have his little short sharp thingy. Don't see this ending well for the ol' Jungle King.
another great cross over concept!
Roy Thomas beat you to this years ago sort of when Conan encountered Arma-a Hyborean Age Tarzan
Exactly, this already happened. Sorry.
