There's something about the original team of X-Men that just works. I think it's that they each had a simple easily definable power. I did have one question when it came to Iceman, though. I loved the visual of him zipping around on his ice slides but I always wondered what happened when those things began to melt. Did they just start falling apart and come crashing to the ground? I imagine that would cause a lot of collateral damage! Perhaps they changed to the consistency of snow before breaking apart, that would avoid most of the problems, I guess.

Spidey and His Amazing Friends (animated series, NBC, 1981-92)did much to define Iceman (and Firestar) to those of us unfamiliar with X-Men. Any thoughts on how they were portrayed in the cartoon vs. the books? Also, I second the suggestion for Batman & Neo and Triniy and Morpheus from the Matrix.
Dave sez,
Very cool cover!
Please tell me that The Boy Wonder is at the controls, and the Batplane is not on autopilot, and that Batman has to deal with an angsty Bobby Drake from experience with an angsty Flying Grayson...
But...that's just me...
2 QUESTIONS: Can you do a BatMan / Marvel HERCULES? You went right past H...and can you do a mock up using the covers of Giant size CONAN 5 by Kirby and THOR annual 5 by KIRBY and send them it to me? I'd like to use it on CROM and or MIGHTY BLOG OF HERCULES....thanks for your time.
Batman/Hercules was posted many months ago in my first B&B go-round, just use the search function or check the archives! For commission rates on the Conan/Thor mash up, check my profile.
oh...I see. I meant a RETRO Batman HERCULES....
I'll draw up my own CONAN/HERCULES thanks. :)
Get a chance check out my first two covers over at my HERC blog...thanks for the inspiration. I check your blog out every day!
Awesome! Both covers are great.... Herc/Tarzan especially would make for a fantastic story, thanks for sharing! Oh, and I have a feeling you'll like this Wednesday's cover...
