The New Teen Titans Vs. Terrax

With Cyborg now a Justice Leaguer and Donna Troy and Wally West MIA or unrecognizable, it's unlikely we will ever see this classic Titans team get a live action treatment.  There was a point in time when I thought that they would be the first to hit the big screen.  At least we will be seeing most of them in some form on the film and TV in the next few years with various projects that have been announced.

By the way, this cover is only the first part of the saga... tune in for the thrilling conclusion tomorrow!

Aw, yeah, Titans! You can spotlight the Titans any day and twice on Sunday! Can't wait for Part Deux!

I think I've just become That Guy. I understand Cyborg becoming a part of the Justice League. I don't like it and it's become my line in the sand. The fact that they looked at J'onn J'onzz and said, Nah this don't work no more, and went a different direction. Donna and Wally are different. They reached the end of their stories, almost like Ultimate Peter Parker.

Cyborg in the Justice League won't make any sense to anyone over the age of 30, but is actually quite reasonable and practical to a company targeting todays young market.

It is quite reasonable to have Cyborg in the JLA. It's somewhat less reasonable to have Cyborg in the original JLA. I wish they'd quit rebooting the history books and just move forward. It isn't hard to change the direction of a series without restarting it from scratch.

As a reader of the New Teen Titans from their first issue, I loooove what you've done with this one. Talk about fond memories! And that's such a simple tweak to make that cover - most of the work was done for you, and yet the new version just works. Nice job!

I had to stop reading comics a few years back. I was getting so disinterested in them, and then the Flashpoint/New 52 stuff hit, and I TRIED to like it, but they just weren't my comics anymore. Hey, at least I'm not spending that money! ;-)

Looking forward to tomorrow's cover!

Yeah, this one was and easy switch out between Terra and Terrax, lest tweaking than usual...

Well like I said, just because this one might have been a bit easier, that doesn't make it any less cool. You have a great eye for putting these things together.

Love this cover ! As a fan of the New Teen Titans also from day one, it brought back some fond memories. I absolutely love what you've done here... It's better than the original !
I susepct Cyborg being a founding member of the JLA could be - as a homage to when he was in the Super Friends cartoon series from the 80's. ( Something which we never got here in the U K ) and I agree that it doesn't make sense. they should've left him out.

Actually, Toothpaste, I was in my early 20's when Cyborg was made a Justice Leaguer, by ABC and Hanna-Barbera, on the "Powers" version of SUPER FRIENDS. And, it didn't make much sense to me, then, either.

Oh, it was undeniably cool! But, still a little strange.
