Green Arrow and Captain America in: "Batroc & The Behemoth!"

Following up from yesterday's Golden Age style cover, here I present a Bronze Age adventure between Cap and Ollie. It took some tinkering to remove Spider-Man from the original image - Here's a look at the behind the scenes progress:

I remember this issue of MTU! The monster was from an alternate dimension Cap had visited during Jack Kirby's Bicentennial-era return to CAPTAIN AMERICA &THE FALCON. Batroc found it and more or less adopted it. Giving it the pet name of "Diable" (French for "Demon").

I guess The King thought it reminded him of a green-skinned Etrigan.

'Queen & Rogers', great law firm!! yet, Oliver probably likes Steve more than he did Kartar. Great cover.

Does that mean they follow a Q&R Code (of Honor)?

As usual, Ross, words that don't sound like over-used cliches fail me. So, I'll just the standard variety to praise this morning's cover. Outstanding! :-)

Thanks for sharing it.
