While the movie had it's issues, it was still great to see Galactus finally realized properly in Fantastic Four: First Steps. The sense of scale in the scenes featuring the World Devourer was very well done and the vocal performance suited the villain well. Now that he's been checked of the list, I am hoping to see Annihilus and a Thing/Hulk fight in the FF's next cinematic outing.
Galactus met Apache Chief of the Super Friends in one of the Back-Up Stories in STF #3300...

Lol! I like the little jibe at the public service interludes from the second season of the show. They were entertaining and informative for the elementary school-age viewers, I'm sure. But, I was in junior high, back then! So, I thought they needlessly dragged out the commercial breaks.
I was much younger & enjoyed them. I even tried some of the projects they mentioned but they didn't turn out the way I hoped. I love this cover idea but the SF didn't have a satellite they could gather in so maybe Galactus should've faced some JLA members he's never met before (for this idea to work even better).
True! The Super Friends didn't get their orbital HQ till their last ABC iteration ("Galactic Guardians" circa 1985).
I don't remember them having a satellite then, either. There was an episode with an orbital city in construction that Darkseid took over, but the Super Powers Team were investigating it.
I see that the Wonder Twins have only appeared without the other Super Friends once in all these years (and looking very different from their original iteration). I know they aren’t exactly top-level heroes but I have to think there are some good opportunities to use them. Everything from learning from someone like Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) to teaming up with other TV characters such as the Greatest American Hero or even Wesley Crusher.
P.S.---only five more days till STF #5000! :-D
