Deathlok and Lothar

Looks like we will be seeing Lex Luthor on the big screen again sooner than we thought, with Man of Tomorrow scheduled to hit theaters in just two years.  Supposedly Lex and Superman will have to join forces against a larger threat - it has to be Brainiac, right? I have a suspicion that we may see Lex even before that though - I don't think an appearance on Peacemaker season 2 is out of the question.

Let me guess- Luthor was trying to loot a luthier, in order to become a luthier looter, when Lothar and Luther (Manning) showed up to flout the ruthless luthier looter.

Fantastic. We’ve been waiting for years for a Lothar/Luthor cover. For another obvious match, although it might be a bit more challenging in terms of style, what about a famous pizza loving cat visiting Black Lightning in his civilian identity? Garfield at Garfield High?

Maybe Lothar could get help from Mandrake.

Maybe Pee-Wee Herman could go to Mecca Lecca High; LOL!

Luthor was after a magical lute that was worth more than all the other loot around!

Bob Greenwade's tears of gratitude must be falling like Niagara, this morning.*
And, as a fan of alliterative appellations, I love the title even more than L-aric!
Although, I am likewise at a loss to loquaciously elucidate the underlying motives for this morning's malefaction.

;-)

*I'm pretty sure that this was one of his plethora of frequent requests

not at all....Ross did it for the ...L...of it!!

Then, we must L-evate him upon our shoulders.

This is actually one that never would've occurred to me, in large part because I know nothing of Lothar. But I'll agree that this is the most fun I've seen on the cover since #3575! All that's missing is for Lex to develop a lisp, and threaten the heroes with a "lather" (pronounced with a long A and a voiced TH).

PS: For the next one like this, maybe a certain boy mad scientist can team up with a certain feline Red Lantern to pursue a certain killer of serial killers.

I like this but this is the Michael Collins version of Deathlok not Luthor Manning
