The Punisher and Jonah Hex

There guys are both tough as nails and go about their business in a direct, no-nonsense manner.  I can only imagine what the friction would be like if they were to be thrown together for an adventure, whether as adversaries or allies.

Ah, the Six-Gun Gorilla could out-gun 'em both, six ways from Sunday!* Especially with Grodd in control of his brain.

*Have a relatively pleasant Memorial Day, Ross. It's drizzling here. :-)

An ex-Confederate Civil War veteran and an ex-marine Vietnam War veteran. Different eras; different fighting styles; but, neither one lacking in courage. Something that goes double for those who didn't live to see an honorable discharge.

May every surviving veterans's Memorial Day be suitably memorable...and thank you for your service.

If you want to see the West get really wild, let the Time Trapper drop Deadpool in Jonah's lap.

DC's been the main one with a lot of Western heroes, though of course there have been a few Marvel characters and a few outliers. But I find it surprising that he's yet to meet either of the two great classics: the Lone Ranger, and Zorro.

On the other hand, Marvel's 1602 doesn't have many crossover possibilities... unless, of course, Mars Attacks that era.

@Bob: Two-Gun Kid, Rawhide Kid, Kid Colt, & Ghost Rider (a.k.a. Night Rider) are the easy ones I remember. Still more than the military... Fury & the Howlers and Leatherneck Raiders. Talk of limited categories.
I could see 'The Castle takes a Hex!' running two issues easily. The time travel might be due to a new party trying out something experimental.

Like Zarrko the Tomorrow Man trying to assassinate Kang and Epoch?

Nice one Ross! The highest level of machismo ever witnessed with this team-up.

Now if we could just get to see Dane "the Black Knight" Whitman meet his Zenescope namesake.
