Do you like to have a soundtrack playing when you read comics? Sometimes I have Pandora play some superhero movie scores while reading a new issue, it helps add to the ambience. I'm thinking a story like the one above would almost demand musical accompaniment.

Slammin' Ross! This would be the greatest team-up since Bowie worked with Queen to produce "Under Pressure". Steve Cropper might get jealous, but this is a home run!
I'll bet this is Madman's best song-and-dance number since "Puttin' On The Ritz" in YOUNG FRANK EINSTEIN.
Good one Carycomic! A terrific team-up like this needs a formidable adversary. But who is the weirdest, most unhep baddy out there? Particularly, it would have to be someone who hates music, or at least, has to be the death of the party. Klaw? The Blue Meanies? Ah! How about... Ned Flanders?
It definitely would need a soundtrack of high-energy '60s (and early '70s) soul: "Work to Do," "Hold On, I'm Coming," "Vehicle," "Signed, Sealed, Delivered," "Down to the Nightclub," that sort of thing.
On a related note, we really could use an all-musical anniversary issue.
(Pun not intended but appreciated.)
@Ken Roskos: how about Huckleberry Hound....turned into one of Granny Goodness' War Dogs?
I remember a made-for-Boomerang cartoon where he silenced all of NYC for drowning out his trademark off-key rendition of "My Darlin' Clementine"!
if Martian Manhunter teamed up with a Skrull, would that be redundant?
You need the Music Meister to even the score! He'll probably even leave a note behind!
@Det. Tobor: What if the Chameleon was, himself, being impersonated by Skrull? Or even a Durlan?
Oops! I think Tobor and I meant to reply to STF #4408.

Really? Then maybe he could team up with Turner D. Century...
Either him or the Clanton Gang led by Walter Brennan.
@Cary, i was just wondering if J.J. could team with a Skrull or if that would be a hard pair to match?
@Det. Tobor: well, Ross has already given us JJ vs. the Super-Skrull @ STF #670. 2,603 issues later, we were treated to the Red Skull having gotten the Hector Hammond treatment discourtesy of Mopie (the Mr. Mxyzptlk of the Speed Force). So, if we had the Martian Manhunter _teaming up_ with the Super-Skrull vs. the rest of the Totalitarians (mind-controlled by Herr Grosser Kopf), that might be acceptable.
