While Space Ghost Coast to Coast was a fun series, I preferred the Hanna-Barbera star as a straight up hero. But who could take his place for hosting duties? Given his outgoing personality, I thing that The Tick would be the perfect candidate for such an assignment.

i could go with this. In this parallel universe, Space Ghost was made a figure in a job that i wish he never had... but some good stuff did come from it like the interview with Gary Owens.
But could he replace Birdman as a lawyer?
Shades of Leno & O'Brian!
Hmmm! Most of the other regular reviewers must've stayed home because of the rain.
The name of the Tick's new "show" is something that's been in my mind for a few years now. I can easily imagine Townsend Coleman taking center stage for the voice duties, too.
Let's let him keep this job! Nearly anyone could be a guest on Tick Talk for a cover. William Shatner's here (looking nonplussed), but you could easily drop any figure from Tom Holland to Barack Obama to Martin Scorsese.
I know very little about the Tick and even less about Space Ghost. But I don't need to. It's all in the pefectly matched body language.
And Shatner's horrified expression from the side. Genius.
I think The Tick might want to work on the name, there's a popular social media app that kind of has that label going on.
Might not last a season.
And Arthur would do wonders as his sidekick.
In real life I think that would have been a great idea; especially if done back in the late 1990s and with the original Tick voice actor. And I too wish they had not made Space Ghost into a parody of himself; he was one of my favorite fictional characters when I was growing up in the 1960s.
Tick Talk! That was funny! Good job. How long were you planning on this pun?
I will have to send it to my daughter.

@ my namesake: a long TIME, obviously. ;-)
Simply wonderful! I agree with you motivations and your solution. Hear! hear!
George Lowe the voice of Space Ghost, lives in my hometown and regularly shows up at local events. He's a funny guy.
I wonder if he could dub Space Ghost as a straight-forward superhero for an OVA adventure flick?
@Anon1057: one can only hope. :-)
From what I've heard they were in the talks during Coast to Coasts production to have The Tick appear as a guest on these show. He was one of a few possible guests they looked into seeing if they could make another cartoon being interviewed outside of the regular tv formatting look right (the other that's been named so far was Captain Planet). Both interview plans were apparently scrapped due to budget and the fact they couldn't quite get it to look good enough to put on air.
