Samurai Jack and Katana

I was glad to see Samurai Jack return a few years back to finish up its epic story line.  It was great to see the final defeat of Aku and certainly wort the wait.  Still, I want to see some new episodes!  There's still plenty that can be done with the character and I love the visuals and direction of animation on the show.  Here's hoping we haven't seen the last of him.

Time will tell, Ross. :-)

Maybe Fighting American, a superhero that recently got whisked away to HIS future (2017), like Samurai Jack, might return to comics.

Maybe also the Jetsons and 20th Century supervillain (of Captain Caveman's) Futuro!

Or maybe the Incredibles can team up with the Impossibles to thwart...

"THE REVENGE OF DR. FUTURO!"

Ugh! Where did that awfully-clad ‘Katana’ come from?

I think that's the version from the comic adaptation of Beware The Batman.

@Anon #3: Or Kim Possible and the Impossibles?

@Anonymous - Throw in Frankenstein jr. and Frankenstein agent of s.h.a.d.e. and you got a deal.

As Buzz Conroy might say: "Bouncing Bonuses!'

Elric (First Comics) has a cursed sword, The Shining Knight has an enchanted sword, isn't Katana's sword cursed? Is The Silent Knight's (DC) sword enchanted, cursed, or none of these? In conclusion was Superman's Sword (Pre Crisis DC) ever resolved/destroyed?

Beware The Batman Is my Favourite 2nd Batman TV Program.

You forgot the Singing Sword of Prince Valiant. And the Ebony Blade of Dane Whitman (the superheroic Black Knight).

@Rob: I'm in-Clined to think she looks rather sexy in a basic black leotard with matching tights.

@Cary Comic I omitted them, they were to easy to think of "low hanging fruit".

@Cary Comic I'm not sure if the Ebony Blade (Marvel) Was cursed or enchanted? Also my previous question remains unanswered.

Carycomic said...

@Brother Barnes: eventually proven as being a little bit of both. I never heard of "Superman's Sword." Unless, of course, you're referring to another double-entendre centered around low-hanging fruit.

@Carycomic: no, he's referring to a quasi-sentient object that was created at the moment of the Big Bang (at least, in the pre-COIE DCU), according to the Late Silver Age SUPERMAN ANNUAL #10.

@Brother Barnes: as far as I can determine, Superman returned/discarded it, in outer space, when he found himself in danger of becoming just the sort of power-mad dictator that his other-dimensional counterpart became in the on-going DC comic book spin-off of the videogame "Injustice: Gods Among Us." Whether or not it survived all those sequel crises, over the last thiry-odd years, I have no idea.

@Anonymous Thank you, I never got to read anything about Superman's Sword passed Superman Annual #10.

@Cary Comic it happened before they "Byrned" the beloved DC Multiverse.
