It seems like Stephen Spielberg and Harrison Ford are serious about making one more Indiana Jones movie together. It will be interesting to see what they come up with, given the fact that Ford is not quite a spry as he once was. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull definitely had its issues, but there were still enough fun moments for me to enjoy it - which I can honestly say about all of the sequels. Nothing comes close to Raiders of the Lost Ark, though. That movie is just about perfect in my eyes. Will they be able to recapture at least some of that magic? I hope so.

I stated in my main IMDB review, for "KOTCS," that it was appropriately dour, given that it was set in the mid-1950's at the height of McCarthyism (which, in retrospect, did more harm to this country than any amount of Communist propaganda). And, Harrison Ford being a little older and wiser-but-sadder, played Indy Jones the same way.
After all; the character couldn't stay in the Never-Never 1930's forever!
That being said, I would be willing to settle for a flashback adventure, depicting Indy during WWII. Hence, my being grateful for your teaming him up with Sgt. Rock of Easy Company ("where nothing is ever easy"). And, given the inclusion of his name in your title, I have to think that Belloq has been brought back to the Land of the Living by some occult means that would--quite naturally--appeal to everyone's least-favorite wall paperer.
Like, say, an artifact linked to Hela, Norse goddess of the dead?
Raiders was a great movie but I have a soft spot for the Last Crusade, the first Indiana Jones movie I saw in theaters.
It's kind of funny to see Indy show up today, I was just thinking of suggesting an oddball teamup with Jughead Jones :D
I've been thinking for a while that another really cool Indiana Jones film could be set during World War II if he was played by Sean Patrick Flannery.
I like Mike's idea of teaming Indy with Jughead -- maybe the latter is the former's long-lost son! ("Another one?")
Given that Fighting American (an anti-commie takeoff on Captain America (by CA's creators also) is currently stuck in HIS future, maybe he could be paired with similarly-plighted Samurai Jack.
P.S.@ Bob Greenwade: Jughead is more likely Wimpy's love-child by Olive Oyl's long-lost sister, Crudelia. ;-)
Major shout out to Super Team family. They’re killing it with these covers. Absolutely amazing 🤩
