Man-Wolf Vs. Swamp Thing

Justice League Dark is coming back in a new series, and I have to say I was amused at the slight redesign given to Swamp Thing.  He now has long flowing vines of "hair", making him look somewhat like famed Swamp Thing scribe Alan Moore - and it kind of works!  I wasn't crazy about the antlers he grew for a while a few years back, but this I can live with.

Are they antlers or branches?

If you have to ask, then either way it's a bad idea or bad art or both.

Branches or antlers, at least Alan Moore can legitiamtely pass the buck.

@Anonymous: I'm sure he can also spell "legitimately" correctly. LOL!

@Ross: I have to wonder if the Moonstone in Mark Jameson's chest would react with the phyto-elemental energy in Swamp Thing's body and teleport both of them to some other dimension. Not necessarily Stargod's, of course! Although, that would be highly desirable in a real-world publication of this crossover.

I'm betting "legitiamtely" was a typo, not a misspelling.

Cool cover as usual Ross. Interesting team-up/Face-Off as well.
Yeah I saw Swampy's new look too and it's too On the nose as they say in regards to looking like Moore. Hard to say whether or not it's a simple well-intentioned homage on the part of the artist or yet another "F You" by DC to Moore. Probably both.

@ Silver Fox: thanks, dude! :-)

P.S. @ Ross: any chance of a rematch between Batman and Man-Wolf, someday?

Anything's possible

I think much of the "F You" by DC to Moore is really Moore expecting stuff he was not promised. He seems very tempermental.

Regarding the cover only thing I can figure out is Swamping and his gal visiting JJ Jameson to explain him the errors of his companies dumping of waste. She is obviously the translator and his son intervenes.

In other words, he always thinks he deserves "Moore" than he was initially promised?
