Brother Voodoo and The Demon

One thing I like about The Demon is how so many different types of stories can be told with him.  he can be either the protagonist or antagonist in any tale and his adventures can be set in many different time periods.  His stories can range from Gothic horror to swords and sorcery to superhero action.  He's even had a comedic series that worked pretty well.  Pretty versatile, if you ask me!

I second the nomination of Brother Voodoo in a live action movie.
In a non-sequitur request, how about some trumpeters? I just saw an image of Air Walker Gabriel blasting his horn and I thought he'd team up well or be pitted against Mal Duncan as Hornblower. They could both end up on the front page of the Daily Bugle!

We need a team up with Beetle Bailey and Sad Sack including their supporting characters.

I second the Beetle Bailey / Sad Sack notion, and wonder if Gomer Pyle USMC ever had a comic?

Your observations regarding Etrigan are very insightful and true.

Are you familiar with the golden age hero Captain Triumph? Like Brother Voodoo, he too had a connection with a ghostly brother. I wonder if CT's and BV's ghostly brothers ever get together and go bowling. They could invite Starman's ghost brother along.

Come on, Etrigan! Help a brother do that voodoo that you both do so well.

I fully support the Beetle Bailey / Sad Sack meeting, possibly by putting their respective units on opposite sides of an army exercise.

And Jay: Yes, Gomer Pyle had a comic. I've even been holding out hope that Ross would give him a turn as part of the Marvel Family.

Gold Key published three issues of Gomer Pyle in 1966-67.

How about the Shazam Family vs. The Wrecking Crew with poor Gomer caught in the middle (an intended victim of "Pyle Driver")?

I personally found Dr. Strange to be the most compelling character in Infinity War, and his stand alone movie to be the best Marvel has come out with in years. If DC is going to introduce one of its masters of the mystic arts into the JLA movies, then I assume the majority of people would vote for Dr. Fate or Zatanna, but Jason Blood would be a great direction to go in if they wanted to do something different, if for no other reason than that Jason Blood is one of the great names in all of comicbookdom, lol. Also, of course, because you really get two characters for the price of one, one of them being the indispensable Entrigan. Will they follow Marvel's example and think a bit differently from time to time? It'd be nice.

Still would love to see Dr. Fate though; talk about a character born to translate well to the big screen. I'll keep my fingers crossed for that eventual JSA movie.

I'm not against a Dr. Fate feature film...so long as no Yiddish-talking CGI bulldogs are included!

Have you ever paired up heroes who had dead companions? Like, Jeb from the Haunted Tank with Brother Voodoo and maybe others?

You mean, like the Golden Age Capt. Triumph?
