Green Arrow and Hawkeye have met before on the blog - They first met in one of my very earliest STF covers... then they were at odds with a few fellow Avengers along for the tale... Next up they faced off against The Hulk and Solomon Grundy... then it was time to hone their skills... and next they shared an adventure with Black Canary and Mockingbird. and last time was a classic adventure from early in their careers,,,

With Oliver's history in the Golden Age, I would wonder if he was not Hawkeye's mentor...
To AirDave: Do you mean inspiration?
I wonder if there'll be a Marksman or Tom "Spider" Halliday shooting arrows into the world-ruling Nazis on the CW version of Earth-X?
P.S.---your direct link to STF #1775 seems to be having interconnectivity issues.
I'm having the same trouble! But, I don't mind that much. So long as the cover price of each issue is still only sixty cents. :-)
P.S.---It's STF #1773, Cary.
Link should be fixed now.
This pair is just about enough to have their own tag. This is, what, their seventh time together? Maybe that could be instituted in a future "photo cover" with Stephen Amell and Jeremy Renner.
Now they need to add some more archers - Maybe Huntress or and the other Hawk-Eye or Shado - and have them firing at someone like Bullseye.
For a furture cover, maybe you could mix it up and use the Kate Bishop Hawkeye and either Mia Dearden Speedy or Emiko Queen Red Arrow. If not along, maybe alongside Clint and Ollie like the Canary/Mockingbid cover.
You get my point (pun unintended) - more ladies.
The Spider and the Marksman, mentioned by Cary, are crime-fighting Golden Age archers from Quality Comics (same as Uncle Sam's Freedom Fighters).
For those who want a brief review of the new Justice League film, see the "Comments" section under STF #2042.*
*It seemed as fitting a place as any.

Huntress is already established here as being Hawkewye's sister: His surname isn't really 'Barton', it's Bertinelli...
