The Metal Men and Nova
Though they weren't everyone's cup of tea, I enjoyed the CGI animated series Green Lantern and Beware the Batman. Should DC decide to utilize that style again, I think that The Metal Men would be a perfect fit for it. I have loved all of their animated appearances so far, and it would be great to see them and their wild rogues gallery in full CGI glory.

The Metal Men were among those DC characters that always felt more like Marvel characters to me (along with the Doom Patrol and Metamorpho). Conversely, I always thought that Captain America seemed more like a DC character....
Great cover, by the way. I always thought that Doc Magnus had a loose screw or two.
Who knows? In the DCU of Earth-410, he could even have been the one to invent those apparently self-replicating Ku Klux Klandroids known as the Trolvs!*

A CGI Metal Men would be fantastic! I think it could even work on the big screen, if DC could get up enough confidence in the property. Maybe they could test the waters with a direct-to-DVD story.
And speaking of special effects, Ross, this is definitely one of your better covers. I especially like the spot where Nova is bursting right through Mercury's midsection.
Thanks, Bob - the toughest part of this one was re-creating parts of Platinum that were originally covered up by a UPC box...
The original NOVA is such a classic Marvel character. More recent versions of him have become ridiculous though with the writers portraying him as a younger and younger person. What's next, toddler NOVA?
METAL MEN are great. How about a team-up with E-MAN?
i have often wished that dc had captain america instead of marvel....too bad....lol
@ my namesake: With Hank "Commander Steel" Heywood, they've got the best of both worlds. Captain America and the $6,000,000 Man!
