Iron Man and The Legion of Super-Heroes
Continued from yesterday's cover, We see that Ferro Lad was serious when he said they needed Tony in the 30th century.
I'm wondering how large Tony Stark/Iron man's role will be in Spider-Man: Homecoming. When I first heard he was in the film, I figured that is would be for a quick scene or two, but he did seem to be a big part of the trailer that was released. I wouldn't mind too much if he had a larger part, I liked the interaction between Stark and Peter Parker before and it would be fun to see a Marvel Team-Up style Spidey flick.

Wow! Cool cover!
I've watched Captain America: Civil War a couple times now. What I come away with is that it seems as if Steve Rogers is a minor character in his own movie. Don't get me wrong - it's a great movie and I enjoyed the heck out of it. Robert Downey, Jr. is such a scene stealer, every time he's on screen he just takes over. The whole aside with Peter and Aunt May was great. It just came so close to being either Iron Man IV or Avengers 2.5...
I wonder who could've stolen the ARC tech, though. Kang? One of the Controllers?
Or somebody completely new to both sets of superheroes?
Regarding the new cinematic Spider-Man, I still can't get past an Aunt May that I'm attracted to!
By the way, thanks for including Bouncing Boy on this cover....
This is ten covers in a row, Ross, that look put-together enough to be unit pieces. (And to be fair, I think that might be literally impossible with the Groo/Captain Caveman cover!) You're really on a roll here!
For this two-parter, I also think that you have a heck of a story here. Like the Anon above, I also wonder who the villain would be, though I'd suspect the Time Trapper.
@Bob Greenwade - Maybe a three way battle with Kang & JLA's Lord of Time! But there's hope! Kevin Smith thinks Supergirl will lead to LoSH as a tv property. Praise Rao.
Well, AirDave, Anthony Mackie did refer Captain America: Civil War as Avengers 2.5 after all, so I agree with your comment because it did feel like an Avengers film disguised as a Captain America film.
In the STF universe, maybe the Time Trapper is one of Kang's several personae?
Speaking of the Trapper, in some ways, I liked Glorith (who took his place in the "Five Years Later" continuity) better. The Trapper in the 1980s tended to ramble about being the incarnation of entropy, yadda yadda yadda. Glorith wanted wealth, power, royal rank, and the like. Her motives were reprehensible, but at least they were also comprehensible.
Oh, and of course Glorith was much easier on the eyes... ;)
