Green Lantern and Marvel Boy

I liked Marvel Boy from his appearances in Fantastic Four when I was a kid and was glad to see him come back as The Uranian as a member of the Agents of Atlas.  I really dug that team, and I hope we haven't seen the last of them.

Ah, yes! The unsung Avengers of the Golden Age (from the now-classic "What If...? series). If only they could be manipulated into going up against the JSA. Like, by Brainwave of the INjustice Society, perhaps?

Technically, Cary, they were the Avengers of the Atomic Age; i.e. the 1950s. There's a team in DC Continuity that bridges the gap between the JSA and the JLA called the Justice Experience (as seen in CHASE #6); seeing those two teams meet could be fun.

Most modern comic book purists would say the Marvel Silver Age didn't begin until the Fantastic Four got their powers from that fateful spaceship crash. While "Atomic Age" technically covers a much broader spectrum. Post-WWII Golden Age (late 1940's), ret-conned Silver Age (First Line-era), and Current Age (post-FF debut). As for the Justice Experience; that was when Jonn Jonzz was posing as the Bronze Wraith, right?

I'd rather have them meet Comico's Justice Machine!

I love the 1950s feel of this cover (whatever age you want to call it).

Love this one. One mind game I used to play when I was doing drudgery was concoct a Marvel JLA without the usual players and Marvel Boy was usually tapped for the Green Lantern role. I played this game in reverse too by the way.
