Sgt. Rock and The Phantom
I am waiting for DC's Legends of Tomorrow to have a WWII era-based episode featuring their stable of wartime characters. They have so many great ones to choose from, the Unknown Soldier, The Haunted Tank, Madamoiselle Marie and of course Sgt. Rock and Easy Company. I loved when the animated Justice League had an adventure during that period, and it would be great to see the Legends try something similar in live action.

I did find it rather frustrating when the war-time JSA was introduced (on LEGENDS), and it contained several silver age characters.
And, thus far, I'm not that impressed with the White Martian crossover, either.
What bothered me most about the JSA episodes is that all of the Golden Age characters got stuck in earth-tones leather costumes, while Stargirl is in her bright blue & white spandex-and-skin two-piece.
Speaking of the JSA, Ross, any chance of the JL Dark meeting the JS Dark (Spectre, Fate, GL's magic ring, Hippolyta, full Egyptian Hawkman)? Maybe against some Elder God stuck in between Earth 1 and 2?
Nice one! Always great to see the mighty SGT.ROCK and THE PHANTOM seems to go great with just about any character.
I agree, Wolfhammer. Although, I'm puzzled as to what would draw the Phantom away from war-time Bengali. Because, if memory serves, Easy Company was strictly ETO (European Theater of Operations) during WWII. Unless, of course, they were temporarily recruited by the OSS to rescue Sarge's little brother (Lt. Larry Rock, USMC) following the latter's capture by Axis spies in Bengali's capital city.
Nice to see the Ghost Who Walks in his 80th birthday year.
Today's cover has the Guardian of the Eastern Dark
And, this Sunday's cover is another great homage to the Kang/Grandmaster feud from the Silver Age MIGHTY AVENGERS.
I am a fan of the PHANTOM,
but I think a crossover for Sgt. Rock and his Easy Company would be even better
with Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos...
