Mr. Spock and Space Ghost
I liked the tribute to Leonard Nimoy in Star Trek Beyond. My favorite part of the new incarnation of the original Enterprise crew is that through Spock Prime, they were able to avoid undoing all of the previous continuity. The photo he gave the young Spock of the classic cast was a nice way to give a nod to Shatner and the rest of the original crew, while underscoring the importance of loyalty for their successors.

Looks like Plasmus in liquid form.
I hope some kind of tribute to Anton Yelchin is in the next film. As it has been suggested that Time travel may be involved, perhaps Walter Koenig could be persuaded to make one last appearance...
Captain Kirk: "YOU'RE Pavel Chekov?"
Admiral Chekov: "In my reality, yes. One of many possible realities of course."
Captain Kirk: "Unbelievable..."
Admiral Chekov: "Careful Captain. I have seniority AND I out rank you."
Spock: "Fascinating."
love dc's future quest book i'm happy space ghost is in it too! way to go dc!!!!
I've often wondered if the Jovian lava monster that Space Ghost fought, in the the original series premiere, might've been a Moltar experiment discard.
Looks like a Horta to me.
@Bob Buethe
Not to be confused with the Horla (which can't be seen at all...unless you're Vincent Price).
I too enjoyed the tribute to Nimoy as well.
