And a special thank you to you, Ross, from your readers around the world (including those of us who didn't know it was Thanksgiving in the USA until now)
That Anon said it best. I rarely miss a day checking this out, and seeing what will spark my thought processes for two (or sometimes more) diverse heroes -- or villains, or some mixture, or even something else altogether -- combined in ways that few others could imagine. Thank you for the entertainment, as well as your frequent commentary on movies, TV, and comics.
living mummy and unknown soldier in wrap music with groovie ghoulies?
Appreciated, Bob and Anon!
And to you and yours too Ross. Always a pleasure to visit your site to see what you cooked up that day.
I wish the Unknown Soldier and Fury had met. So much I'm common besides the obvious.
Happy Happy Thanksgiving Pilgrim;)
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Ross, and all of those who frequent this blog. I hope that each of you receive a blessing today as we reflect on things for which we are thankful over a nice turkey dinner. Thank you for what you do, Ross. Thank you to all of those who post for all of the comments.
Nice cover. The DC vs Marvel debate will rage forever when it comes to which one has the better super-heroes, but there is no doubt that DC has always reigned supreme with the very best war comics. SGT. ROCK, UNKNOWN SOLDIER, G.I. COMBAT with the HAUNTED TANK, ENEMY ACE, WEIRD WAR TALES, BLACK HAWK, THE LOSERS, and many more are classics of the genre.
Keep up the great work Ross.
GOBBLE GOBBLE!
Thanks to you and your quality work here! I wasn't a fan of war comics, but admired Kubert's work and enjoyed a war story once in a while, often in Brave and Bold teaming Rock with Batman.
Hope you enjoy your day of Thanksgiving!
Keep 'em flying!
Thank you, Ross, for giving all of us so many fulfilled wishes. And that goes double for the ingenious combos we would never even have thought of!
I appreciate the kind words, guys, hope you had a great holiday!
I know I did. :-)
