Justice Society of America and The X-Men

I love to see George Perez artwork on just abou anything, but where I feel he shines the most is on team comics.  He has the ability to include multiple characters in his storytelling without the artwork. ever looking too crowded through his deft use of composition and multi-paneled pages.  Plus, his characters all have very individualized faces and body types, rather than stock hero and heroine forms, which really enhances my enjoyment of a comic with a large roster.

The JSA and X-Men first crossed paths in STF #1400...

Good Lord! First the JLA, eleven issues earlier. Now, the JSA, too?!

Where's Cobweb Kid and the Inferior Five when you really need them?

Funny, I wouldn't have thought this cover would have so few comments. Is there something else on?

I started really getting into comics with George Perez's artwork on New Teen Titans. I had seen his work on The Avengers and followed him from there to Justice League. I really started collecting and anticipating the next issue with Titans. I have to flip through JLA/Avengers again...

Love the use of the early '90's JSA logo. I loved that Mike Parobeck-drawn series. Ditto on founding Perez-drawn X-MEN. That's not a usual team of characters that he normally draws.
