Princess Leia and Xena: Warrior Princess

I wonder if Carrie Fisher knew how popular her "Slave Leia" outfit from Return of the Jedi would become.  It has be come a staple of Comicon cosplay, and I have seen more versions of it than just about any other character.  Xena isn't too far behind though, with Harley Quinn looking to take them both over as most popular cosplay subject.

Is an irrational fear of warrior princesses labelled 'Xenaphobia'?

You have had some great team-ups in this blog. Some of them are team-ups that I would possibly have thought of had I done this, but Leia and Xena is not one that I had ever thought about. I like this. I think that this would make a great story.

In the cosplay pictures that come across my Pinterest feed, I see plenty of Slave Leia and of course lots of Harley Quinn, but very few of Xena. What Anonymous cites has some legitimacy, but what I really see a lot of are Wonder Woman and American Dream (the latter generally billed as "Rule 63 Captain America" -- which basically is what American Dream is anyway).

Re cosplay... also, for those who can fill the costume, Power Girl?

Random thought of the week:

Xena and Wonder Woman team up, and seek to resolve their mutual problem by ordering some books online. (Guess who from.)
