The Punisher Vs. The New Teen Titans

I have read that Deathstroke has been reserved by DC for their cinematic universe, and I hope that means that he will be the main antagonist in the rumored Titans movie.  I'd love to see The Judas Contract as the basis for the film's plot.

The Punisher takes Slade Wilson's spot on today's cover... Frank Castle mixed it up with an earlier incarnation of The Teen Titans back in STF #237...

This is only the first part of this story, make sure you come back tomorrow for the exciting conclusion!

With as many two- and three-part stories you've been doing lately, Ross, I do hope that you can, at some point, bring in one of those 12-part epics that have marked so much of the Big Two's respective publishing histories (for good or ill). Perhaps you can lead into #1500 with something big featuring Access, the Exiles, the Anti-Monitor, Kang, the Green Lantern Corps, the Gamesmaster, Jenny Everywhere, the Champions (from the RPG), Captain Klutz, and whoever else you can manage.

Great cover, can't wait for the second part. Good call on the RPG Champions Bob, I would love to see them!

Are you trying to kill me, Bob?

I second (or is it "third?") Bob's motion. You, Ross, would/could do a better job of simulating a year-long epic better than DC's current incarnation. You'd definitely do it better than Red Anvil Comics, whose nearly five year-old WAR OF THE INDEPENDENTS is _still_ on hiatus (despite promises to the contrary)!

That being said? I have to confess that I find this Punisher cover even more delightfully chilling than the linked earlier version. Which is why I'm equally sure you could do a great team up for #1450 between--for instance--AC's Femforce and ARCHIE's Mighty Crusaders!

Definitely echo everyone else's sentiment, and say damn fine cover man!
Especially the way you flawlessly inserted Frank in there. I'd love to read the story behind this.

In answer to your question, Ross: Not consciously. ;)
