Hmmmm! Barton? Bertinelli? Yeah, I can see Clint's last name being changed to something more safely American-sounding because of some kind of vendetta against his biological father.
If only Marvel and DC could've had more writers like you during their heydays.

It seems as if The Batwoman has replaced The Huntress in the rebooted DC Universe. Well, ya can't say her character wasn't given plenty of chances to come into her own post- Crisis on Intfinite Earths. I loved her how her character was portrayed on Justice League Unlimited as well. I don't understand how DC/Warner can make such a mess of things with these constant reboots and continuity changes.

Why stop there? Why not include THE PHANTOM STRANGER, THE PHANTOM EAGLE, THE BLONDE PHANTOM, PHANTOM GIRL (from the LSH) and DANNY PHANTOM versus THE PHANTOM BLOT and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA?

@ 2nd Anon: Unless, of course, Helena Bertinelli was left on Thomas and Martha Wayne's doorstep when Bruce was still a toddler. Their tragic deaths could be written up, by Ross, as a thinly-disguised attempt to kill the heiress apparent to the Bertinelli crime family!

Don't forget the Phantasm from the animated Batman stand-alone film (which was made into a comic, so it shouldn't be hard to find images).
Interesting idea and concept actually. I guess it could work. Just gotta' say though, I as I look at that particular rendition of Hawkeye you chose, just how much of a solid and seriously underrated artist Mark Gruenwald was. Wonder why he didn't draw more.
