Hawk & Dove and Spider-Man

The only thing that really bummed me out about TNT deciding not to go forward with their Titans series is that they had intended to use The Hawk and the Dove as part of the roster.  I have always liked these characters, both Pre and Post-Crisis versions, and it would have been cool to see them in live action.  Something tells me the costumes from the comics would have been highly altered had this come to pass.  They may be pretty retro, but I really dig those Ditko designs.

Please make a silver age Iron Man and Hourman. Two industrial big wigs who made themselves into heros. Both Iron Man & Hourman and Tony Stark and Rex Tyler would interact well together I believe.

Man! It is positively eerie how you seem to (even unwittingly) read your fans' minds.

I was just going to ask if you could do a "cover" depicting Lilith ordering Spidey to web up these two--and the rest of the Mr. Jupiter-era Teen Titans--to keep them away from Arthur Swenson!

I have wanted to do this match up for a long time because of the Ditko connection.

A Ditko Hawk and a Kane Dove? Outrageous!

H&D #2, Ditko's last issue, is one of my all-time favorite comics. I always love stories in which the hero wins without ever throwing a single punch.

How about a Liefeld Hawk & Dove and a Macfarlene Spider-Man

Y'know, it never occurred to me before. Hawkman & Hawkgirl are Carter & Shiera Hall, and Hawk & Dove are Hank & Don Hall. Hmmm.

I like those designs too Ross. I imagine TNT would've stuck them in color coordinated street clothes or something. Maybe Spidey's following them because Peter Parker noticed the Hall brothers hanging around a series of campus disasters and they don't have the convenient excuse of taking pictures like he does!

@ Bob Buethe: the Silver Age Hawk and Dove were actually the sons of Judge Irwin Hall and his wife. Whereas the Silver Age Hawkman and Hawkgirl had their Thanagarian names anglicized by Midway City Police Commissioner (who's brother, btw, conveniently happened to be retiring as chief curator of the Midway City Musuem of Natural History)!

But, with all the ret-conning DC has done over the last twenty odd years, the genealogical relationship you hinted at is not as infeasible as it once was.

Oops! Left out the most important part "...Commissioner Emmett."

Should all the Halls meet at the Hall of Justice?
