Metal Men and Transformers

I understand that Michael Bay will be staying with the Transformers franchise, but promises to revamp it with a completely new cast, to be led by Jason Statham.  While the previous movies have some great moments of spectacle, they are undone by flat attempts at humor and overly long running times.  We'll see if the new film adjusts for these shortcomings... but I don't expect Bay to take my advice, given the hundereds of millions the films have earned.  Now, Bay producing a big-screen Metal Men epic?  That's a movie I would be first in line for!

Fantastic work! This story writes itself!!! Any plans to use Roy Thomas' creation Arak, Son of Thunder? Also, I second the motion for Amethyst!

The perfect match for Arak would be Turok, no? And Amethyst/Crystar would make sense, too.

Nice team-up. I plan on teaming the Metal Men with Voltron for a fanfic of mine.

oh my god, "CRYSTAR"??? I haven't thought of that character is years and years. Or am I confusing him with a line of Mattel toys about crystal warriors. they kind of looked Captain Atom/Dr. Manhattans. ahh...toys of the early 1980s, they will never make 'em any better!

Crystar was toyline by Remco, not Mattel.
