I thought for this cover, I would share where the character images came from. As you can see, there was a bit of patchwork and rearranging required to get to the cover scene that I had envisioned.

Whoa! Flawless; absolutely flawless.
I can't wait to see what you have in store for Sal Buscema! :-)
Wow… very cool team-up.
Darn! I was hoping for Paul Gustavon's Angel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel_(Thomas_Halloway)
Ummmmm... do I even wanna know what Mercury is doing on that poor Sentinel's head...?
I always kind of liked The Metal Men. Silver Age silliness at its finest.
We haven't seen the Metal Men teaming up with the Transformers since #906, back in 2014. A lot's happened in the real world since then... I know you tend to lean toward fun escapist adventures, Ross, but I'd really be blessed if you could bring these two groups together once more to deal with the marginalization of synthetic beings. Many people these days still regard them as a threat, or a "mere tool," even if they were as sophisticated as those groups (or the members of Robo-Force).
